One of my “Erin off duty” favorite vacation activities has always been strolling around vintage boutiques and interior design shops, hunting for some treasures to bring home as a souvenir of the magical time spent on the spot.
I’ve spent this summer with my family in the city of angels, L.A. While on the hunt for a perfect interior treasure, we’ve passed the whole day in one of my favorite districts that Los Angeles has to offer, the Arts District in Downtown L.A.
On a corner of Santa Fe Avenue and East 3rd Street, we bumped into this fabulous Hammer and Spear store, occupying 6,000 square feet on the ground floor of a historic brick-clad, and offering all sorts of unique objects. You can imagine my excitement. They have an excellent collection of unique and often local brands, and the vintage stuff they sell is so cool. The store’s interior looks like something out of the pages of interior design magazine; expect to spend a good amount of time just roaming the many sections and finding little treasures in every corner.
The store’s antique display surfaces and new shelving are stocked with an array of otherwise hard-to-find apothecary items, stationery, barware and edible goods integrated into the shop’s intensely neutral palette. Vintage furniture at Hammer and Spear offers a cozy place to sit and soak in the downtown L.A. Arts District.
The showroom was founded by husband and wife Scott Jarell and Kristan Cunningam. The Hammer and Spear brand was born of the couple’s great love for their neighborhood and its inspirational community of artists. In an effort to meaningfully participate in its growth, Hammer and Spear opened its doors to showcase the work of burgeoning DTLA designers and to engage and collaborate with the craftspeople of the district.
Each section of the store serves as inspiration for sprucing up your living area with unique furniture and all kinds of interior eye candies. Here you’ll find some vintage designer pieces that you won’t see anywhere else. They do a great job sourcing cool stuff. If you are wandering around L.A. Arts District, The Hammer and Spear is definitely a place worth stopping in. After grabbing your coffee at Cafe Gratitude and before heading to The Broad museum, The Hammer and Spear is the perfect transition for vintage interior treasures. And in the meantime, check their inspirational online store

Hi erinadmin,
You have shared excellent information on this page with the outstanding steps to eliminate the dryness w from the Sensitive skin of body in a seven days and increase the beauty of skin by using the hydrating food with applying hemp seed oil with the best moisturizer daily according to the period of a time after the recommendations of a doctor and remember the instructions of a doctor which help you to eliminate this kind of skin dryness disease with the best skin moisturizer ,My suggestion is you must go to a doctor one time in a week for starting of proper treatment of eliminating dryness with skin moisturizer appeared on the Sensitive skin of body for increasing the beauty of skin in a summer season due to the effect of sun rays, keep it in your mind don’t work in the light of sun because the heat of sun with the dust particles of sun rays increase the rough dryness and cracks with lines on the skin due to the demaged of skin layers cells after the working of some time you notice the color of skin become black and cracks with lines are increased on the Sensitive skin of a body this is also a effect of skin cancer . So take care of skin and avoid to work in a light of sun . you also use a mask on the face if necessary to work in the light of sun and also use carrot in the food salad .
Thanks.
